Greg van Eekhout writes novels and short stories for children and adults. His work has been nominated for the Nebula Award, the Andre Norton Award, and the Locus Award. His novels include Norse Code (Ballantine), which brings the Norse Ragnarok myth to modern-day settings; Kid vs. Squid (Bloomsbury) , a middle-grade novel about the survivors of Atlantis washing up on the shore of a strange California beach town; and The Boy at the End of the World (Bloomsbury), a post-apocalyptic middle-grade novel. California Bones, the first volume of his new fantasy trilogy from Tor Books, is scheduled for early 2014. .
After living in the Phoenix area for 14 years, Greg moved to San Diego, where he currently spends time writing and beachcombing.
