We need a few volunteers with high charisma stats to help run the Gaming Area over in the Hyatt. Your responsibilities would include loaning out games from the Game Library, keeping track of the sign up sheets for the scheduled games, and answer any general questions that may cross your path. Programming Support Rapid Response Team members work to help quickly resolve the various issues that will arise during Phoenix Comicon. Issues range from technical, assisting with panellists needs, and controlling any lines that may emerge unexpectedly will go through the volunteers on our Rapid Resolution team. This position is an important part of the Programming Support Team, and those who enjoy a faster-paced job, thinking on their feet, and working on a team will find this to be an excellent position! We're the looking for more volunteers! The Marketing Team is currently looking for Press and Media Event Staff. This team acts as representatives of the convention to the press and media. You will help maintain and create relationships with various outlets, approve Press/Media passes, and assist in staffing the press room. Ready to help attendees pick up some awesome Phoenix Comicon branded gear at the convention? We're looking for staff to operate our new Merchandise booth. You'll work with our Merchandise Manager and Coordinators before the convention for pre-sales, during the show, and after to help with inventory. Email email@example.com to apply.
Work a total of 16 hours at an info desk during the convention to answer attendee questions with accurate information. Attend training sessions and meetings to be prepared for the event. The Information Desk works directly with attendees of Phoenix Comicon answering questions about programming and providing assistance in navigating the downtown area. Email Dawn Crawford to apply.
We need 8-10 Full Event staff members that will work 16 hours throughout Thursday - Sunday of PCC, and be available for shifts ranging from the hours of 8 A.M. to 2 A.M. They will be responsible for setup and dis-assembly of the radio room and tracking radios. They have to follow set protocols for checking in and checking out of radios. There will be pre-con requirements for meetings training and radio preparations.

Phoenix Comicon has a lot of technology support to provide the best experience to members AND to the volunteers that help make the convention happen! We need volunteers that have at least basic technology/computer support and basic A/V skills but all skill levels desired. This team supports registration, panels, info desk, and more! Great opportunity to learn and network. 16 years (with parental consistent) or older.
