If you wish to volunteer during the event please see the Volunteer Relations staff either in the Gilbert Room at the Hyatt Regncy or at the Exhibitor Hall Manger tables in the Exhibitor Hall. We are interviewing for volunteers (6) for the Relationship Team. Under the direction of theRelationship Coordinators, these staff members use their relationship-mining skills to create partnerships. These staff contact businesses, establish and maintain relationships, work to provide SWAG for our volunteer force, negotiate sponsorships and advertising. They concentrate approximately 3-5 hours per week within their own schedule to communicate in person, by phone and by email depending on the organization and task. If you enjoy talking about things you enjoy (i.e. Phoenix Comicon), you can help us make this a GREAT user experience for our AMAZING volunteers and FABULOUS attendees!

The Information Desk works directly with attendees of Phoenix Comicon answering questions about programming and providing assistance in navigating the downtown area. The Information Desk is open before the Con starts and often is staffed after the main Con floor closes. We have a variety of sites this year and you may NOT be in the main building. Volunteers need to be able to handle pressure and be open-minded. Professionalism is a must as you are dealing with a variety of beliefs, ages, genders. All volunteers will attend monthly training sessions and meetings to be prepared for the event. We are looking for team players that like to work with people. Knowledge of genres is a plus.
Customer Service experience preferred but not required.

Reports to the Press and Media Coordinator. Responsible for approving Press/Media credentials and helping to distribute press materials as needed.

We are seeking individuals who would be available Sunday evening from 6 pm to approximately 10 pm to assist with packing and cleaning the Phoenix Comicon areas. Volunteers will work with the various departments throughout the Convention Center and hotels. Volunteers for this position will receive a single day event pass for Phoenix Comicon 2015.
Photo Booth event staff with be responsible to sell photo booth opportunities to attendees, answering attendee questions, putting photos out for attendee pick up. Staff will also assist with helping attendees through the photo taking process.
People with computer and /or AV experience for onsite technical work. This includes setup, take down, running and troubleshooting.
Looking for people with programming and/or web development experience to help create, enhance and run our tech before the convention.
