Fans of historical dramas such as Wolf Hall, The Tudors, and The Other Boleyn Girl will not want to miss this panel!   F.I.R.E. invites everyone interested in the Tudor court to come and see what it really takes to make Tudor clothing in our modern world.  To kirtle or not to kirtle?  How heavy can pearled sleeves get?  And how many yards of gold thread can be sewn onto a a sleeve?  Learn the answers to these and other questions at "The Tudor Project".   What started as a simple question: "Do you want to be one of Henry's wives?" has grown into F.I.R.E (Friends In Recreation and Education) and the ever growing clothing recreations inspired by paintings done during Henry VIII's time.  Our ten panelists will discuss the work involved in their individual ensembles and a bit about what they learned along the way. After the panelists have shared, the remainder of our time will be spent on questions from the audience.
