Ryan Huna Smith (Chemehuevi/Navajo) is a member of the Colorado River Indian Tribes in Parker, AZ. He attended the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM and received his BFA from the University of Arizona in Tucson. In 1996, Ryan illustrated “Tribal Force” which was the first mainstream comic book created by both a writer and illustrator that were Native American. In addition to illustration, Ryan also paints. He has shown his work at Indian art markets such as the Prescott Indian Art Market and The Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair and Art Market. Ryan currently works as a freelance artist/illustrator and resides in Tucson, AZ.  His website is www.ryanhunasmith.com.
