Hotel Based Programming Manager

Recruit, mentor, manage and lead multidisciplinary teams in developing and presenting unique, dynamic and engaging social events (mixers, dances, parties) and spectator events (panels, game shows, stage shows, screenings)to be hosted in Phoenix Comicon hotel space. Community Event Planner Event Staff

This individual will be responsible for identifying restaurants for education track attendees to meet, buy their meals and socialize. This individual will put together a schedule of these events for distribution during the con and play host/ess for said meals. Contact kellyann.bonnell@phoenixcomicon.com to apply.

Professional Development Liaison Event Staff

This individual will be responsible for overseeing the documentation process for teacher PD including working with the art department to finalize the certificate, documenting contact information for certificates distributed and preparing the attendee labels and guiding presenters through the distribution of attendee labels and answering any questions related to the process from attendees. Careers in Pop Culture Liaison Event Staff

This individual will identify panelists with careers in pop culture that are interested in sharing what inspired their career choices and their professional preparation for their careers. Contact kellyann.bonnell@phoenixcomicon.com to apply.


Outreach Event Staff

The Marketing Team is looking for dynamic, outgoing, out-of-this-world individuals to sing Phoenix Comicon's praises. You'll work with local businesses and organizations and let them know how becoming a sponsor of the Phoenix Comicon 2015 will benefit their business. During the process you'll explain the opportunities available by becoming a sponsor. One of the perks of being a member of the Marketing Team is most of our work is done before the convention so you have a lot of time to enjoy the convention itself. To apply email josh.ross@phoenixcomicon.com.


Line and Access Event Staff

We are looking for individuals with an outgoing positive attitude that are at least 18 years of age. Our volunteers need to be able to stand and move freely throughout their shift. We do need our volunteers to be available to work 18+ hours over the four days the convention is running. All volunteers must be upbeat, helpful, very customer service oriented and able to work independently with little supervision. Panel Moderator

Be a Phoenix Comicon 2015 Moderator! We're having two more open calls if you'd like to try your hand at moderating a panel for this year's convention. Be prepared to moderate a mock panel and stay for about 30-45 minutes. Moderators must be 18 or older.

Join us on Saturday, February 14th, from 1pm to 4pm in the West Building of the Phoenix Convention Center, or Saturday, February 28th at the Burton Barr Central Library.

Photo Booth Staff

Comicon members need your help getting their photos taken with our amazing guest list in 2015! Interested in being a part of the magic behind the scenes? Shifts are 4 hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; leaving you plenty of time to attend your favorite panels and events! Photo Booth staff must be 18 or over.
