Brandon Mull is a #1 New York Times bestselling author known for his Fablehaven, Beyonders, and Five Kingdoms series. He has also created and outlined the Spirit Animals series for Scholastic, writing the first of the seven novels.

His latest novel, Dragonwatch, is the first in a five-book sequel series to Fablehaven.

Brandon has also worked as a comedian, filing clerk, patio installer, movie promoter, copywriter, and briefly as a chicken stacker. He currently resides in Utah with his four children and a dog named Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

He is the co-editor of Boing Boing (boingboing.net) and the author of Walkaway, a novel for adults, a YA graphic novel called In Real Life, the nonfiction business book Information Doesn’t Want To Be Free, and young adult novels like Homeland, Pirate Cinema, and Little Brother. He has also written novels for adults such as, Rapture of the Nerds and Makers.

He works for the Electronic Frontier Foundation, is an MIT Media Lab Research Affiliate, is a visiting professor of computer science at Open University, and co-founded the UK Open Rights Group.

He is originally from Toronto, Canada and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
